Our
Safeguarding
The safety and well-being of our children is at the forefront of all we do at Bentley New Village. Throughout the school day, all staff strive to ensure the children are safe, cared for and happy. To ensure that we meet statutory responsibility and keep all our children safe, school staff receive regular safeguarding training and are vigilant at all times, with effective recording and monitoring procedures in place to ensure that safeguarding is effective and staff are proactive.
As we are keen to keep your children safe whilst in our care, we kindly ask that you do not bring dogs onto our school site and whilst we encourage children to cycle to school, providing a space to keep their bikes, we also ask that you ensure they do not ride them on the playground.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the school grounds.
If your child has had an accident or injury outside of school, please inform staff as your child arrives in the morning. Likewise, your child has an accident at school, that we deem you may need to be informed, we will phone you to explain the incident.
Thank you for your kind consideration in helping us to keep our children safe.
